Here at Yorkshire Trike Tours we truly believe that the experience we can offer will give a fantastic sense of freedom to those people, for whom, mobility is an issue. For the majority of people with mobility issues the joy of riding on a motorcycle with the wind on their face can seem a far off dream. At Yorkshire Trike Tours we are committed to making every effort to ensuring that everybody is able to enjoy the sensation of riding on a motorcycle from the comfort and safety of our Boom trike.
We will endeavour to make our fantastic tours available to as many people as possible with mobility or other disabilities, believing that everyone should have the opportunity to visit the Dales. We are always keen to talk to customers and see how we can make a tour possible and able to fit in with your individual needs. It can sometimes take a little longer to arrange, but we will do our utmost to find a solution in order to give you your perfect day out in the Dales.
Our motto: See, feel & experience the Yorkshire Dales like you have never done before, being chauffeur driven on our three seater Boom trike.
Our sole aim is for you to have an amazing time and for you to experience a fantastic trike tour.
We are currently in the process of raising funds for 'Access the Dales'. This is headed by an amazing lady, an avid walker who loved walking in the Yorkshire Dales until she suffered a spinal injury that now confines her to a wheelchair. We are taking Debs on a tour this summer. We have also pledged that £5 from every tour we do this summer, 2013, will go to the fund. Debs’ is working hard to raise over £7,000 in order to buy a tramper; an all-terrain motorised wheelchair, so she and others can truly access the Yorkshire Dales.
Please call Judith on 0113 258 50 55 if you have any questions, or if would like to discuss your requirements in greater detail. We would be so delighted to meet you and give you a triking experience you will never forget.
Debbie North
It was our sincere pleasure to take Debbie for a spin, along with Andy her husband, who was actually the more nervous of the two. Having given Debbie a little taster, round the block, we headed out towards Ingleton. All I could see in my mirrors was Debbie wearing a smile bigger than a Cheshire cat. She shrieked at the sensation of the wind in her hair and face and she was thrilled at the roaring sound of the trike engine.
This was a special trip for me, and my job satisfaction levels were off the scale!
Dave Halsall
We had the enormous pleasure of taking Dave for a spin recently. Dave has been in a wheelchair for over 2 years now but he managed to get on the trike alongside his daughter. It was only a short trip however they both had the most exhilarating experience.
I admire Dave hugely for having a go. I realised I had just met an amazing guy indeed. After taking Dave for a spin I started to realise that one of the major reasons we are starting this company is to enable people, like Dave, who are wheelchair bound much of the time, to experience the sense of freedom riding on a trike can give you.
We derive great pleasure and enjoyment ourselves, and we get to meet some awesome people.
