Judith's Review: This tour is probably one of our favourites; this tour always leaves us spellbound. First is the opportunity to experience the typical Yorkshire market town of Skipton. Then cruise through country lanes, between dry stone walls, watching the gentle farmland as you begin to rise through Airton, Kirkby Malham up to the astounding Malham Tarn. The steep climb offers awe inspiring views over the Moors to Parson's Pulpit, before winding steeply down into Arncliffe. From there we pass the impressive Kilnsey Crag, picturesque Burnsall, and cruise through lower Wharfedale to Bolton Abbey before finishing back at the Rendezvous hotel.

Miles: 40 - Route: Ben Rhydding, Askwith, Blubberhouse Moor, Thruscross Reservoir, Greenhow, Stumpcross, Skyredale, Appletreewick, Burnsall, BardenTowers, Bolton Abbey, Addingham, Ilkley.

Miles: 60 - Route: Skipton, Gargrave, Bell Busk, Airton, Malham Cove, Malham Tarn, Kirkby Malham, Airton, Carlton, Hetton, Rylstone, finishing back at the Rendezvous Hotel.

Judith's Review: This tour is an absolute pleasure. Leaving Skipton, following the A65 through Gargrave, before turning into the National Park at Bell Busk. We encounter the gentle hills of lower Wharfedale, with miles of walls and numerous sheep. Bell Busk is a delightful village, as is Airton and Kirby Malham. We reach Malham and are treated to the awesome splendour of the Cove, then the surprise of the Tarn nestling against the dramatic moor. Returning, via Malham village, we meander along narrow winding lanes over the moors to Airton. Cruising on through Carlton. Hetton and Rylstone before enjoying a delightful run back to the Rendezvous Hotel.

Miles: 52 - Route: Skipton, Gargrave, Settle, Stainforth, Pen-y-Ghent, Halton Gill, Arncliffe, Kilnsey, Thresfield, Cracoe, Skipton.

Judith's Review: This is a magnificent tour, starting with a swift cruise along the A65 towards Settle, following the Leeds/Liverpool Canal and the railway. Once through Settle a right turn takes us through the villages of Langcliffe and Stainforth and a steep climb to the majestic moors of Ribblesdale and past Pen-Y-Ghent. A feast of drystone walls! Halton Gill looks gorgeous in the distance, it's an awesome drive towards Litton, then Arncliffe (orginal location of Emmerdale), where the narrow road widens by a nestling stone bridge. A nod to Kilnsey Crag brings us through Thresfield with a smooth cruise back to Skipton. 

Start Locations:  Middleham Castle, Bainbridge, Askrigg Village Square or Hawes

Miles: 45 - Route: Choose your start location, Buttertubs Pass, Muker, Gunnerside, Low Row, Gill Gate water splash (as seen on All Creatures Great & Small), Langthwaite, Reeth, Grinton Moor, Leyburn or Redmire Moor, Bolton Castle and back to finish location.

Miles: 55 - Route: Hawes, Garsdale, Sedburgh, Dentdale, Dent, Gawthorpe, Barbondale, Cowan Bridge, Ingleton, Ribblehead Viaduct and back to Hawes.
