Judith's Review: This is a breathtaking tour that goes from the bottom to the top of Wharfedale, shadowing the River Wharfe wherever possible. There are so many magnificent views to take in before we reach the source of the river at Cam Houses. Here there is time to stop and absorb the marvellous landscape before we gear up and ride high over the moors and descend into Gayle, where we visit and enjoy our guided tour talk around Gayle Mill. After lunch at the Creamery, the next pleasure is to enjoy riding the length of the hidden but absolutely stunning Bishopdale. The journey winds back through Lower Wharfedale, offering amazing views and plenty of photo opportunities. A real Dales experience indeed.

Judith's Review: Leaving the bustle of the A65, you are propelled into another world of fells and moors, together with picturesque villages and farms. Skirting in and out of the national park, you can enjoy the myriad of colours around you on the Howgills and feel you are on top of the world on ButtertubsPass. Look out for red squirrels around Cautley and the astonishing Cautley Spout. Hawes is a contrast to the isolated countryside you have been through, but has the feel of a typical Dales town. Judith's Review: A swift escape from Skipton along route A65 to Settle, via several villages on the way. This route follows the canal and there are views galore, which way to look? Then the road takes you through Ribblesdale. Horton in Ribblesdale is almost a surprise as it pops up, just before encountering the awesome viaduct. Arriving in Hawes and the famous Wensleydale Cheese Factory there is a stop for light lunch and time to taste (and buy) some amazing cheeses. Onwards up through Oughtershaw and over Cam Fell. Now are amazing fell views and the fascinating mix of barns in Upper Wharfedale, following the early stages of the River Wharfe on a beautiful drive back to Skipton.

Judith's Review: Every tour we do we are convinced we have found the best one ever- then we found this tour, and you've guessed it, we found the best one ever!! A cruise through Nidderdale is a great start and then over Masham Moor into Wensleydale taking in some stunning scenery, both moorland and softer lower dale views. At Middleham, the start of Coverdale, be prepared to be breathless at the stunning vistas. The ride through this dale is, as yet, unparalleled on our tours and is definitely the one for those who love to take their cameras to capture the memories.
