YTT15: Evening Picnic at Jervaulx Abbey

This is a very special trike tour experience indeed. We feel very privileged to be able to offer a tour at this privately owned historical monument. We have been granted special permission to allow us to cruise through the grounds, following the tree lined avenue, to the heart of the Abbey. Once within the peaceful cloisters a specially prepared afternoon tea hamper, prepared by Jervaulx Abbey Tea Rooms, can be enjoyed in the Abbey's ruins. A most tranquil and romantic experience.

Price per Tour carrying 2 guests: £380 including the most gorgeous homemade picnic hamper Afternoon Teas

Duration: 4 hours with an Afternoon Tea hamper taken in the heart of the ruins of the privately owned Jervaulx Abbey. A rare privilege granted to Yorkshire Trike Tours by the owners.

Start Location: The Devonshire Arms Country Hotel in Bolton Abbey

Miles: 60 - Route: We start from the Devonshire Arms Country Hotel in Bolton Abbey, cruise on through Barden Towers, Skyredale, Stumpcross, Greenhow, Pateley Bridge, Gouthwaite Reservoir, Ramsgill, Leighton Reservoir, Masham to Jervaulx Abbey. On our return journey the tour takes in Middleham Castle, Coverdale, Kettlewell, Kilnsey and Burnsall before heading back at the Devonshire Arms.
