Hi Judith & Jason, I just wanted to thank you for a fabulous afternoon on Monday. We had a lovely adventure in the Yorkshire Dales! 

Mum booked our Yorkshire Trike Tour which is something she has wanted to do for the last 2 or 3 years. She had originally planned to do the tour with my dad for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. My dad was wheelchair dependent, had health problems and unfortunately died 6 weeks ago which was very sad. On Monday it would have been their 52nd wedding anniversary so to mark the occasion I suggested to mum that I do the Trike Tour with her. We chose the Kilnsey Tour and were blessed with perfect weather. Even tough mum was suffering from a cold she absolutely loved touring around Yorkshire on a Trike. Jason was a brilliant guide and very knowledgeable. I believe he got his love of the Yorkshire dales and dry stone walls from his dad.

Thank you once again for your brilliant, unique tours. I wish you all the best in your business venture. I've been telling everyone I know what a brilliant day we had. I believe a lady I work with (Audrey) is going to contact you shortly to order some gift vouchers. Best Wishes, Lisa

Gail and I would like to express our very sincere thanks to you and, in particular, to Michael for a fabulous day out on Monday 19th October. As explained when booking this was on and in celebration of Gail’s 60th birthday.

Michael was an excellent chauffeur and great company. The tour itself certainly took in the whole day and we had a great time, visiting some places we were familiar with and some that were new. Even the weather was brilliant for us and at this time of year the changing colours of the trees just added to the whole experience.

When we have a suitable day free we are planning to drive around the same route again sometime.

Dear Judith and Jason

We have just experienced the very best retirement present we could every have wished for. Michael was absolutely brilliant. He arrived in plenty of time to kit us out before taking us on our tour, then dropped us off at Cold Stone Cut and allowed us plenty of time to see this amazing place, afterwards taking us on the short ride to Stump Cross Caverns,  (which I first visited as a child and they are still a sight to behold) followed by a fulfilling lunch. Then the wonderful ride round to look at the scenery and then back to our pick up point.  To top it all, the weather was kind to us. We really could not have asked for anything better, we felt so safe and secure in Michael's very capable hands, and we hope to ride with you again in the future, thank you. We wish you good luck and best wishes with your business. With kind regards Doreen & John Calver

Dear Jason
Well we arrived home in Sussex an hour ago. It feels like a wonderful dream, and then I look at my photos and realise it was real.
This was a lifetime ambition for me, my darling sister in law Lesley used to ride with her hubby on a Goldwing, and suddenly she passed away.  I wanted the courage to go on a motorbike and feel that buzz, and then I saw Billy Connolly do route 66.  That was it I wanted a trike ride and you made it happen. After we had been dropped off in the car park and you left us, I couldn't help myself but shed a tear, it was a tear of joy, happiness and that special feeling you get when you have done something that special.  My thanks go to you Jason, for your wonderful company and Judith, you are one special lady letting your hubby share this joy with others, have a good summer season, enjoy your own special holiday later this year and we will be back, I need to go to Whitby!

Hi Jason

My husband Alan surprised me with a tour on the trike for my birthday. I was very dubious of what he had arranged as I had no idea until Jason turned-up to meet us at Bolton Abbey on the trike. I was over the moon. Jason kitted us out with all the gear needed and explained everything, from where we were going , to pointing out places of interest along the way. Two hours of touring North Yorkshire , around the reservoirs up hill and down dale. That's one off my bucket list! Thanks Jason , it was brilliant!

Hope you are well. A big thank from both of us for a fantastic 2 day trike tour of the dales. Not only was it a big surprise for myself for our 25th wedding anniversary it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. It has certainly opened my eyes on what's been on my doorstep for centuries 'The Yorkshire Dales' and we'll be definitely revisiting the places you showed us with a much better understanding of why and how it's existed for such a long time.Once again many thanks from both me and Lyn for memories that will last a lifetime.

We went on a trip round Wharfdale Tuesday June2nd for my 70th Birthday. The weather was not very good but Jason very kindly waited until the rain stopped before we started which was much appreciated as I, the wife, am not in good health. The trip was brilliant!! We really enjoyed the whole experience especially as we used to be bikers. Would recommend this to anyone. Had a fantastic time, rounded off my birthday celebrations nicely. Thanks Jason and Judith.

Hi Judith and Jason - Howgills, and the western Dales.
Jason put together a bespoke tour for us as we were keen to explore parts of the Dales we didn't know and he gave us a real treat! His love of the gorgeous scenery you ride through is infectious. I would never willingly get on a motorbike so wondered what I would make of this experience, but I felt safe from the word go. The sensation of spinning along, smelling the spring flowers, hearing the bird song and feeling the breeze made the experience unique - will we ever want to drive around the Dales in a car again? Jason makes the whole drive very relaxed, being happy to pull in to savour a view or to tell you more about what you are seeing. We had a mixed day weather-wise, with sunshine, wind and even hail, but were able to enjoy ourselves thanks to all the extra gear Jason carries on the trike, so we were well wrapped up! We had a very tasty lunch in Hawes. At times it felt as though we were royalty as people stop to wave and smile as you drive past. All in all a great day and one we highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience the Yorkshire Dales in a unique way.

Very many thanks for sending us these photos and for your wonderful trip.  Apologies for my delayed response but I needed to wait until I got back home. Naomi really had a super time on her birthday and will have some amazing memories of the tour.  It was extra special for her as she is unable to cycle herself (as she has balance problems caused by a brain tumour when she was young).  She has always wanted to be on the back of a bike! I have already told others of our experience so you may be getting more bookings!

Tricia Stewart - Miss October (Alternative W.I. Calendar)

As a W.I.Calendar Girl and the originator of the Alternative W.I.Calendar I was invited to experience the Calendar Girl Tour by Yorkshire Trike Tours. However, not being a motorbike fan apprehension was an understatement of how I felt on my arrival at the Devonshire Arms, Bolton Abbey, for my Yorkshire Trike Tour of Calendar Girl Country.

After meeting , Jason, going through a safety talk, then being fitted out with my “Gear” I strapped myself in and was ready for the “Off”

Within minutes my trepidation of being on the trike disappeared to be replaced with confidence that Jason, a man with years of trike driving experience, could make this tour a day to remember Zooming ,in comfort,  through the Yorkshire Dales with , what can only be described as an unprecedented view,  I started my tour of” Calendar Girl Country”, a tour taking in both the beauty of the area but more importantly for this trip major sites of the Calendar Girls Movie.

Jason proved to be a font  of knowledge  not only about the Calendar Girls Movie  but also the history and geology of the dramatic scenery we passed on the way, communicated to me via a hi Tec intercom system.

During the tour, apart from stopping at the Calendar Girl sites, we took time to stop and take photographs and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Riding on the Boom trike was thrilling and the tour was exceptional .Finally over a superb afternoon tea at The Devonshire Arms,  Bolton Abbey, with Jason and his wife Judith, the conversation inevitably  came round to the idea of my family purchasing our own trike so we can all enjoy this method of experiencing the area on a regular basis.

The Yorkshire Trike Tour has got to be the ONLY way to experience Calendar Girl Country offering freedom, fresh air, and the feeling of being at one with the world.

Dear Jason,
Thank you ever so much for the trike tour today that was enjoyed hugely by us both on my Dad’s 73rd birthday and was an absolute delight. Jason was considerate and thoughtful throughout and made the experience a memorable one in sharing with us the history and facts about Yorkshire that we wouldn’t have appreciated driving around on our own. Being exposed to the Yorkshire Dales in raw form and with the wind whipping around us is something that will live with us both for a long time and I even think my Mom wants to come back and have go!

What can you say about the trip we have just  experienced, from the moment we were  greeted by Jason, our driver, to the end of our trip ,it  was just one highlight after the other. Although the weather could of been better ,we  experienced hail,  snow, wind and sunshine, sometimes all at once, the tour was ,in  one word, fantastic. Jason was a wonderful driver and teller of great tales and really new the dales well, if you have a bucket list, make sure this is on it. We had a really fabulous afternoon. A good laugh with Jason and his informative information  on the Dales, we travelled through, was greatly received. Jason was very attentive towards Austin to make sure he was warm and comfortable at all times,  Austin being a kidney dialysis patient and  jackets, gloves, body warmers etc were all provided. We both had a fabulous day which we will talk about for a long, long time. I will be booking another trip shortly. Thanks Audrey and Austin xx

I do apologise for not replying sooner to thank you for an amazing day out in the Dales. We had a marvellous day. Perfect weather. Breathtaking ride of part of the Tour De France route although we had the time to admire the scenery with no effort needed on our part! The Dales looked so beautiful and Jason's commentary made us look at the countryside with new eyes. We'd forgotten how spectacular the scenery is. Malham Cove with its constantly changing colours was especially memorable. The trike gave a very comfortable ride and Jason was a most caring and entertaining chauffeur. Thank you also for the delicious coffee. A fantastic day. We've been spreading the word to family and friends about our tour! Thank you.

Hi Jason,

Apologies for the tardy reply, our home broadband has been down over the weekend and I got into work this morning after a lovely weekend.  

It was a true pleasure to meet you and enjoy the tour and the knowledge of the Dales that you clearly enjoy sharing. I will say that the Yorkshire Trike Tour experience was something that we will remember for a very long time. So much so that I have now been allowed to look more closely at having more permanent access to a suitable trike to allow my wife and I to do this more often. For that alone, I owe you big style my friend, thank you.
