Start Location: The Devonshire Arms Country Hotel Bolton Abbey

 

The lead vehicle is our Boom Mustang ST trike carrying two passengers. The support vehicle is our second Boom Mustang trike carrying a further two passengers. The day includes all refreshements along with the most gorgeous goumet picnic hamper lunch, supplied by Herriots in Hawes and enjoyed at the summit of the Buttertubs Pass overlooking Swaledale.

Route: From Bolton Abbey we cruise along to Addingham where we join famous 2014 Tour De France Stage 1 route to Skipton, Rylstone, Thresfield, Kettlewell, Buckden, West Burton, Aysgarth, Bainbridge, Hawes, ButtertubsPass, Thwaite, Muker, Gunnerside, Feetham, Reeth, Leyburn, Middleham, East Witton and Masham, where we leave the TDF route.

We head on over passed Leighton Reservoir, climb across the Moors before dropping down into Lofthouse, Ramsgill, Gouthwaite Reservoir, Pateley Bridge, Thruscross Reservoir where we pick up TDF Stage 2 route for 6 miles finishing back at the Devonshire Arms in Bolton Abbey. Celebrate in the Dales with this amazing expedition day which will certainly be remembered as a thrill of a lifetime, an amazing experience not to be forgotten.
