Route: Leaving Masham and heading on out to Healey, Leighton Reservoir to steadingly climb up through Middlesmoor to the summit. Wow, what a view across the Dales! Descending into Lofthouse, Ramsgill is next before cruising the full length of Gouthwaite Reservoir and into Pateley Bridge. Following the main road to Sawley, dropping down past Fountains Abbey to cruise through Studley Park before arriving in Ripon. Turning north at the famous Clocktower towards North Stainley, winding through Nidderdale to West Tanfield. A few miles further crossing the River Ure via the old stone bridge to arrive back in Masham.

Route: Leaving Ilkley over the River Wharfe, past Denton Hall, you are immediately in the countryside, enjoying typical Yorkshire stone villages and the dramatic contrast between moorland and farmland. Clipping the picturesque market town of Otley, climbing up into the Washburn Valley, you glimpse Lindley Wood Resevoir before experiencing the spectacular views across Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs. The drive over the atmospheric Blubberhouse and Hazlewood Moors, crossing the spectacular Thruscross Reservoir, is a never to be forgotten experience. Take in the gorgeous views on the scenic drive back to Ilkley.

Route: Starting from the gorgeous Devonshire Arms Hotel Bolton Abbey, we trike on passed the stunning Abbey before heading out to ruins of Barden Towers, Skyredale, Grassington, Thresfield, Kilnsey Park Estates at Kilnsey Crag, returning via Burnsall, Barden Towers, up and over the Duke of Devonshire Grouse Moor, before dropping down the Eastby, Embsay, Skipton and back to Bolton Abbey.

Route: Skipton, Gargrave, Bell Busk, Airton, Malham Cove, Malham Tarn, Kirkby Malham, Airton, Carlton, Hetton, Rylstone, finishing back at the Rendezvous Hotel.

Judith's Review: This tour is an absolute pleasure. Leaving Skipton, following the A65 through Gargrave, before turning into the National Park at Bell Busk. We encounter the gentle hills of lower Wharfedale, with miles of walls and numerous sheep. Bell Busk is a delightful village, as is Airton and Kirby Malham. We reach Malham and are treated to the awesome splendour of the Cove, then the surprise of the Tarn nestling against the dramatic moor. Returning, via Malham village, we meander along narrow winding lanes over the moors to Airton. Cruising on through Carlton. Hetton and Rylstone before enjoying a delightful run back to the Rendezvous Hotel.

Route: From Skipton, the tour heads for Embsay, Eastby and on over Barden Moor. This is the Duke of Devonshire’s own grouse moor, you know! From there, descend to BardenTowers, pause to relish some fascinating Yorkshire folk stories, enjoy a chuckle or two. Turning left and cruising along the fell side, the beautiful Burnsall village appears. Onto Linton and the Cafe on the Lake on the Kilnsey Estate. After our tea stop with head for Cracoe. Then, leaving the main road, to skirt around Hetton in order to visit Rylstone, a little ‘Calendar Girls’ spotting! Back onto the main road towards Skipton, the bypass allows guests to feel the trike doing what it does best… cruising! A few miles on full throttle ish..., and back to the Rendezvous Hotel.
